This purpose-built resort situated at 1815m, just below Val Thorens, boasts plenty of beginner areas and easier slopes alongside quick and easy access to the rest of the Three Valleys for the more advanced skier. The town itself offers up lots of restaurants, bars and clubs to suit every need, whether you’re there to party or just to soak up the mountain views. The icing on the cake of this resort, is that most accommodation is ski-in/ski-out and is known for it’s value-for-money, so you can’t go far wrong with Les Menuires!

I was born and raised in Madesimo, Italy, where I started skiing at just 3 years old, I have over 16 years of experience, including time spent teaching in the renowned slopes of Sankt Moritz, Switzerland. With a Sport Science degree and a Mountain Bike course certification, they combine academic knowledge with practical expertise to deliver top-quality lessons. When not on the slopes, they enjoy hitting the gym, playing football, and indulging in sports of all kinds. I have a calm, supportive, and humorous approach. While I excel in teaching expert-level skiers, they also work with beginners, tailoring each lesson to the individual's needs. I have experience working with a children with mental disabilities and despite initial difficulties, I always successfully teach him how to ski and ensure they have fun!

I grew up in Italy and began skiing at the age of 3 in the picturesque slopes of Abetone. I’ve had the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals like Barbara Milani during my formation course, which has helped refine my teaching skills. This is my first experience working as a professional ski instructor, and I couldn't be more excited to bring my passion to the slopes. I teach in English and Italian, and I am based in Italy, where I also indulge in my hobbies of skiing, paddle, and travelling. Throughout my career, I’ve always valued patience, support, and humour in my teaching approach. While I love teaching both beginners and experts, I’ve developed a particular strength in helping expert skiers improve their technique and confidence. My qualifications and experience ensure that each lesson is tailored to the individual's needs and abilities, fostering both improvement and enjoyment on the mountain.

Over the years, I’ve pursued various qualifications, including becoming a 2nd Level Padel Instructor. Alongside teaching, I enjoy tennis, padel, and swimming, always staying active. My training also included working with disabled skiers, from blind skiers to those using mono-skis, helping me tailor lessons to everyone’s needs. My lessons are dynamic and adaptable, whether you’re a beginner or an expert. While I enjoy working with all levels, I particularly excel with experts, helping them fine-tune their skills. I’m patient, fun, and know how to make learning enjoyable for kids and beginners. I also have a special focus on adaptive skiing, teaching individuals with disabilities and making skiing accessible to all.

For your ski lessons in Les Menuires, you will need a valid lift pass to access the slopes. Beginners will require a Les Menuires/St Martin local-area lift pass, which covers all lifts across the resort. For more experienced skiers, we recommend purchasing a Three Valleys ski pass.
Our ski school offers lessons for all levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Use our quick levels guide to help select your level. If in doubt, talk to our team or book one level lower; we’ll adjust on day one, if required.
All our ski instructors in Les Menuires are fully certified to teach in France and have experience teaching skiers of all ages and abilities, including beginners and children.
The majority of our lessons are delivered in English. To request a lesson to be taught in another language such as French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, or Chinese, please contact the office.
In most conditions, lessons continue as planned. If lifts close or conditions prevent safe skiing, we will do our best to reschedule your lessons. Refunds are available if the entire mountain closes.
If you need to cancel for personal reasons, reschedules are available where possible, and refunds follow our cancellation policy.
Les Menuires has not been known for its beauty in the past, however the newer, Savoyard style chalets and properties popping up have softened this mountain side resort. If skiing isn’t your thing, you can explore the resort on snowshoes, a snow mobile, or toboggan and if relaxing is more your style, there are two impressive wellness spas to investigate! There’s definitely something for everyone at this high altitude resort.
