Avoriaz is a snow sure, purpose-built, car-free resort flanked by typical wood-clad buildings and an abundance of ski runs. Opened in the 1960s, the ski resort of Avoriaz has been thriving and expanding ever since. As part of the huge Portes du Soleil ski area Avoriaz is the highest peak in the area and has a wide range of runs to suit all levels of skier and snowboarder.

Benedetta comes from San Pellegrino Terme near Milan, the place of the famous sparkly water, like her temper!
She has been skiing since 2 years old and has a serious racing background. She likes teaching beginners the most and introducing them to the ski world.
In her spare time, she likes to ride her Vespa around when she's not busy reading an average of 4/5 books per month.

Born in Genoa, Italy, Filippo is from a family of ski instructors - after being taught to ski by his father, Filippo progressed to ski racing and competed for the Limone ski team. After retiring from ski racing, Filippo trained to become a ski coach and ski instructor and hasn’t looked back.
He has ski instructed in Morzine for the past few years and has also worked in New Zealand, Australia, and Italy.

Luca is from Florence area and grew up on the slopes of Abetone. He became a ski instructor in 2011 and has taught in Italy and France since then. He is also a ski coach and he's happy to share racing stuff and get into technical details. During the summer you might find him on a boat chasing the winds with spread sails, whether it is a luxury yacht or a dinghy.

Nick went From the British Ski Team to becoming a money broker in the city. After deciding to follow his passion he returned to the ski industry and has a strong drive for innovation and new business ideas.
Avoriaz is the highest resort in Les Portes du Soleil ski area, located next to Morzine and right on the French/Swiss border. You will find a wide choice of runs in Avoriaz, from gentle greens to plenty of challenging red and black runs. 'The Wall' is one of the most famous runs in the world and is not for the faint hearted, a steep bowl, which often turns in to a mogul field, will challenge even the strongest skiers.
