Verbier is a picture postcard Swiss village situated in the 4 Vallees ski area. Perched high on a beautiful sunny aspect, Verbier has access to more than 400km of groomed pistes that cater to skiers of all abilities. The resort has excellent snow cover, allowing you to ski from November to May. Renowned for its off-piste skiing, the ski area has endless opportunities for thrill seekers, from steep and technical couloirs to huge powder bowls and fantastic tree skiing.The village has a famous nightlife and a vibrant restaurant scene, with local establishments serving everything from Michelin starred food, pan-asian cuisine, to of course the famous Swiss fondue.
Our meeting point in Verbier is underneath the big screen at the bottom of the Medran lift, right next to the free resort bus stop.

Our experienced ski and snowboard instructors in Verbier offer one-to-one ski lessons and group lessons starting from underneath the big screen at the bottom of the Medran lift, right next to the free resort bus stop.
With our ski school in Verbier, you know you are in safe hands. As well as knowing the area well and understanding the terrain, all our ski instructors are highly trained, holding the ski teaching qualifications currently on offer in Switzerland.
As well as private and group lessons, we offer ski lessons to families, children’s ski groups and adult ski lessons too. Catering for all abilities and ages, our ski lessons are fun and exciting, in a safe environment. Abby is originally from Chester but started skiing as a 4yr old in Chatel.
Abby loves seeing new places and has travelled extensively around Africa and Asia, and has recently been working in Bahrain.
After studying meteorology and climate science at Leeds university, Abby met her ski instructor husband Lewis and decided to pursue her passion for skiing by becoming an instructor too.
She loves teaching skiers of all ages, and she is particularly good with kids! An interesting fact about Abby – she played football for the North Wales women's team! She has been based in Verbier for 2 seasons now and loves everything about it.

Hetti grew up spending time between London and the New Forest. Her dad took her on a ski trip to the US when she was 9 and she's never looked back. Hetti is one of the most qualified instructors in Switzerland and holds the highest level of certification from France, Switzerland, and Britain.
She is equally at home carving up a storm on the pistes to tearing down tight coloirs on a powder day.
She knows all the best places to ski (and eat!) and this is her 17th season teaching in Verbier. In the summer you can sometimes spot Hetti abseiling down houses in London where she runs a roofing and guttering business, or on her family farm caring for the highland cows and horses. Her love of champagne is legendary!

Julie grew up in the Scottish Borders in a village called West Linton.
She had a lesson on the infamous Hillend dry slope when she was 7, loved it and eventually moved to Val d’Isere in 1999.
Julie has been teaching ever since, her career taking her to Zermatt, New Zealand and finally to Verbier, where she has settled with her partner Rob and their boy Cory.
In the summer Julie loves cycling and running and recently took part in a documentary for Mammut about trail running across Iceland!

Raph is our ski school director in Verbier. He holds the Swiss Brevet Federal, and is also an educator for IASI, training and examining many instructors every season. Raph has taught in Verbier for 15 years and knows it inside out.
He loves finding what motivates his learners and is a very perceptive teacher guaranteed to quickly improve your technique. Away from the pistes he mountain bikes in the summer and can play a mean guitar!
The Verbier ski area is made up of 3 sectors that are accessible from the town. The Verbier sector has fantastic pistes, a separate dedicated beginner area at Les Esserts and a snow park and ski cross in La Chaux. The Savoleyres/La Tzoumaz sector is known for its quiet and gentle blue runs and boasts one of the longest sledge runs in Switzerland at 5km. Across the valley and linked by gondola from the main hub at Medran, Bruson is the smallest and quietest of the 3, famous for its empty treelined slopes and quaint atmosphere. Verbier is linked by cable car to the resorts of Nendaz, Veysonnaz and Thyon to form the vast 4 Vallees network.
