I was recommended the European ski camp by a friend who had attended in the past, initially I was worried I wouldn’t have the ability, as it sounds quite competitive and serious.
However, as a female solo traveller I didn’t have anyone to ski with, as none of my girl friends are interested in skiing and skiing isn’t fun on your own. I needn’t have worried, I arrived and was welcomed by Jack, our instructor who put me immediately at ease, and introduced to the rest of the group over dinner and felt completely comfortable.
Although I can ski anything, technically my style is awful, and I had so many bad habits.
Throughout the week I learned so much, Jack was so patient, he ironed out so many of my faults and as the week progressed so did my confidence.
It was a brilliant opportunity to ski with people who love skiing, to learn a new and exciting skill of GS racing, I never imagined I would have the confidence or ability to do this.
An awesome instructor, Jack is superb, and what a fabulous group of people in the group who have since become friends.

KAREN WILLIAMS TRAVEL COUNSELLOR, June 2023

I had reached a plateau in my skiing when I attended the inaugural European Performance Camp at Austria’s Stubai resort in 2017. Prior to that, I had been stuck in a skiing rut for many years and could not seem to improve at all. But the Performance Camp approach has unlocked skiing potential that I could never have believed that I might attain. From that point forward, the level of my skiing has got much better, year on year: I have attended a further three camps in Austria and skied with Jack Evans in Val d’Isère on coaching weeks.
The format of the Performance Camps is a perfect blend of top-class coaching from top-class coaches, a great location, great hospitality and genuine fun. In Austria, the camp coincides with the Innsbruck Christmas Markets, which makes for a fabulous location for the last-night-of-the-week celebration.
On the hill, coaching includes group and individual tuition (the groups are always small), plus video feedback (on the hill, or in the hotel in the evening). Jack uses the format of a Giant Slalom course, set with proper racing gates, to drag the best performance out of each skier. There is something about having the decision over the direction in which to ski taken away (we ski the GS courses for the latter days of the camps) that has enabled me to be able to concentrate far more on the skiing itself. The results have been superb.
And, should there be any concerns about the level of skiing required to join a Performance Week being too tough, the attendees at the camps since 2017 have found that it caters for a wide range of skiers, with every participant seeing improvements: anyone who would class their skiing level as intermediate, through to highly proficient, could benefit from one of these Performance Camps.

Roger Smith, June 2023

Myself and my wife and son have done several ski camps with Supreme. We had all skied for a good number of years and had reached what we felt was a plateau. Jack and his team brought us to the next level with individual tuition, video based analysis and discussion based around slalom course drills. We had fabulous fun, met new people and improved our skiing all in the one camp. Couldn't recommend Jack and Supreme highly enough.
